Infisical is the #1 open source secret management platform – used by tens of thousands of developers.
We raised $3M from Y Combinator, Gradient Ventures (Google's VC fund), and awesome angel investors like Elad Gil, Arash Ferdowsi (founder/ex-CTO of Dropbox), Paul Copplestone (founder/CEO of Supabase), James Hawkins (founder/CEO of PostHog), Andrew Miklas (founder/ex-CTO of PagerDuty), Diana Hu (GP at Y Combinator), and more.
We are default alive, and have signed many customers ranging from fastest growing startups to post-IPO enterprises.
Infisical is looking to hire a Technical Content Marketer to help us shape the voice of security infrastructure in the AI era through high-quality written content.
We're building a generational company with a world-class team. This isn’t the place to coast — but if you want to grow fast, take ownership, and solve tough problems, you’ll be challenged like nowhere else.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a sharp technical writer who can communicate and break down complex engineering topics. Infisical is a deeply technical product, so clear and accurate writing is important to helping users understand how it works. This is a writing-first role focused on producing thoughtful, well-structured content for engineers, security teams, and technical buyers. Examples of the kind of content you’ll be writing include blogs like SSH Keys Don’t Scale. SSH Certificates Do, The Great Migration from MongoDB to PostgreSQL, and Top HashiCorp Vault Alternatives.
You’ll work closely with the founders and engineering team to:
Write and publish blog content including technical deep-dives, product explainers, SEO-driven articles, best practice guides, thought pieces, and more.
Optimize blog content for readability, technical accuracy, and discoverability (SEO).
Translate internal technical work (e.g., new product launches like Infisical PKI or Infisical SSH) into digestible, engaging content.
Contribute to and refine our product documentation to ensure it’s clear, comprehensive, and useful for engineers.
Help define and evolve our content voice, style, and structure as the company scales.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 2+ years of experience writing technical content or documentation at a startup or in the devtools/infrastructure space.
Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, developer tooling, and infrastructure.
Exceptional writing skills with a portfolio or samples of high-quality, published content (personal blog, company blog, or equivalent).
Self-starter who can take a topic and run with it, with minimal oversight.
Based in San Francisco.
Bonus
Previous experience as a software engineer.
Experience working on open source projects or tools for developers.
Experience with SEO fundamentals and content performance tracking.
How You’ll Grow
You’ll be one of the early marketing hires at Infisical and play a foundational role in shaping how we communicate complex ideas to our technical audience. You’ll write about infrastructure, security, and developer tooling from first principles—and help position Infisical as a trusted voice in the space.
This role offers strong exposure to product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, with opportunities to expand into other areas of technical storytelling as we scale.
Team, Values & Benefits
Our team brings experience from companies like Figma, AWS, and Red Hat. We operate primarily as a remote team but maintain a strong presence in San Francisco, where we have an office. We also get together in person throughout the year for off-sites, conferences, and team gatherings.
At Infisical, we offer competitive compensation, including both salary and equity options. Additional benefits, such as a lunch stipend and a work setup budget, are available with more details to be found on ourcareers page.
