We target the logistics industry which relies heavily on communication to book, check on, & pay for freight. Primarily working with freight brokers, 3PLs, freight forwarders, shippers, warehouses, & other supply chain enterprises and tech startups.

We raised a Series A round from a16z and YC and we’re growing very fast, on track to hit double digit ARR by June this year.

About the Role

This role is really a pure distillation of YC’s essence: talk to users, build and execute.

You will work closely with our customers from onboarding to their ongoing use of HappyRobot's AI platform, ensuring they maximize the value of our product.

And for prevalent problems where there is no product or feature yet, you will work with design partners (customers), to build and deploy an MVP.

Full-Time hybrid in San Francisco.

About You

You’re a versatile Software Engineer who thrives in a role that blends product with technical development.

You have both strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, especially customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert during customer interactions.
• Manage APIs and other tools for robust integration with various third-party systems.
• LLM prompting and tuning of voices and transcribers. Constant iteration to perfect use cases.
• Building new features or entire MVPs.

Must Have

• Comfortable Full-Stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js.
• Experience building AI/ML applications.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Founder Mindset: Hard work + independence + ownership.
