Work Description

• Design and implement RESTful APIs that interact with multiple data stores, ensuring low latency, proper monitoring, error handling, and caching strategies.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries, design relational database schemas, and improve query performance to handle scale efficiently.
• Build reliable, fault-tolerant distributed systems that can scale with increasing load and demand.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in developing backend systems.
• A genuine love for writing clean, efficient, and functional code.
• A hunger for self-improvement and staying updated with the latest technologies.
• Humility in acknowledging mistakes and collaborating with a team of equals.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced 15-member startup team.

• Experience in working with containerised applications.
