  1. Unlock hidden revenue in their customer data (e.g., Underwriting teams use Trellis to extract key features from transaction data and build better risk models.)
  2. Supercharge RAG applications by enabling end-users to ask analytical questions not possible before with traditional Vector DB (e.g., what are the top three features that users are requesting)
  3. Enrich their data warehouse with business-critical information (e.g., Retrieving detailed pricing and quantity information of products sold on competitor websites)
About the role

Trellis is hiring Business Operations Intern

Trellis is building a Snowflake for unstructured data, turning unstructured data (e.g., financial documents, insurance policies, chat logs, etc.) into SQL-compliant tables. Trellis is a spinout from Stanford AI lab and is backed by leading investors including YC, General Catalyst and early investors/executives in Google, Salesforce, and JP Morgan Chase.

⚡ What you'll do

  • Own the execution of initiatives across sales and operations
  • Work closely with the founders to build out content strategy and project planning
  • Write high quality marketing content and customer facing reports
  • Keep track of project planning and execution
  • Help with recruiting & candidate sourcing functions including interviewing potential candidates
  • Qualify and reach out to leads based on their potential for partnership and collaboration with Trellis
  • Utilize data and internal tools to maintain organization and optimize the health of the sales funnel, ensuring timely follow-ups, accurate tracking, and effective prioritization of leads.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, context-switching, and operating in a fast paced environment.
  • You care about the details and hold yourself to the highest standard of work product
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to achieve goals
  • Familiarity with computer science concepts and recent advance in AI are a big plus
  • Previous experience in sales is a big plus

Our AI models and backend are in Python. Front-end is with Typescript and React. We use both relational and non-relational databases
