Pirros is the Github for Construction. Architects and engineers spend most of their time sketching blueprints and then have no way to store them. As a first step, we have built a content management system for all their blueprints with version control. The vision includes automatically suggesting and generating final blueprints based on a series of input parameters.

We are looking for a creative and driven Product Designer to join our team in Los Angeles and help shape the user experience of Pirros’ platform. As the first design hire, you’ll have a major role in shaping our product vision and user interactions while collaborating closely with the CEO and our engineering team to build out our product suite. You will help us create seamless experiences for architects and engineers, taking their workflow efficiency to new levels.

We have a current product with early PMF and now we want to scale that into additional product offerings for our ICP. We need a talented product designer to take ownership of designing additional products alongside the founders. You will spend most of your time working directly with the CEO to iterate on product designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences for Pirros’ platform, ensuring the product is intuitive and aligned with the needs of architects and engineers.
• Collaborate with the CEO and engineers to take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into simple, functional, and visually appealing designs.
• Lead user research efforts, including conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights and inform design decisions. You will also work closely with customer success to incorporate all the feedback they’re hearing into the product
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that align with the overall product roadmap and the vision of the company.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, ensuring the highest level of usability and functionality.
• Contribute to the product strategy and design systems, helping establish best practices for design processes as we grow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role, with a focus on building web or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Figma to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and ability to transform complex workflows into intuitive interfaces.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams to implement design solutions.
• A portfolio of work demonstrating experience in product design, user research, and interaction design.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Passion for solving real-world problems and a deep empathy for end-users.
