Hey we're Respaid, we are a payment solution for late payments. We collect small AR and chargebacks with respectful AI. With a simple excel file, we're able to collect 50% within 20 days. We got 460 customers (18 unicorns) and made up to 450 collections per day.

We raised just before YC 2.7M, we're profitable and operating in France + USA. Our customers includes top YC companies like Clipboard Health or Flexport.

About the role

Join Our Growing Team as Chief of Staff to the CEO! 🚀

At Respaid, we’re on a mission to revolutionize how companies manage unpaid invoices while fostering respect for both clients and employees. We’ve grown rapidly since our founding in 2020, with a team of 40 talented professionals across the globe and a customer base that includes top startups like DoorDash, Vanta, and Flexport. Our bold vision? To bring $1 trillion back into the U.S. economy by recovering 50% of unpaid invoices in just 20 days, all while maintaining an unmatched level of respect throughout the process. We’re not just a startup, we’re a force for positive change!


As the Chief of Staff, you will become the CEO’s right-hand person, helping manage key tasks and keeping the company on track for success. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

• Meeting follow-ups: Ensure every client or prospect meeting ends with personalized follow-up emails, and initiate gentle email or phone reminders.

• Prospect list creation: Research and compile detailed prospect lists tailored to our Ideal Client Profile (ICP).

• Email drafting: Craft ultra-personalized outreach emails that resonate with potential partners and clients.

• Tool exploration: Set up and manage tools, such as time-tracking systems, to streamline team productivity.

• Form submissions: Assist with critical company needs like submitting forms, providing logos, or handling communications.

• Event research: Identify high-value events, especially in San Francisco and Las Vegas, where the CEO should attend, ensuring our ICP alignment.

We’re Looking For:

• A ChatGPT power user (or equivalent) – you should be automating tasks and maximizing efficiency using AI tools. We believe in working smart, not hard!

• A natural with tools like HubSpot, Slack, and SuperHuman (or someone ready to learn quickly).

• Someone who is tech-savvy, almost a geek for innovation, and excited to bring new ideas to the table.

• A bright personality who is naturally sociable and smiles easily, since you’ll be interacting with high-profile clients and partners.

• Impeccable written and spoken English (native level) – excellent communication is key, even if we use tools like Grammarly for final touches.

• Founder mentality – you’re someone who takes initiative, loves being creative, and isn’t afraid to work without constant supervision.

Work Schedule & Flexibility:

• General hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, but we’re flexible. What matters most is a 10-minute response time on Slack and a 1-hour completion time for tasks. You can manage your own schedule as long as tasks are handled promptly.
