About the role

About Stepful:

Stepful partners with healthcare institutions to build talent pipelines and career pathways. We are reimagining allied healthcare training with a digital-first environment for student cohorts that prepare job-ready graduates five times faster, at a fraction of the cost. Stepful graduates, primarily from underrepresented communities, go on to work at leading healthcare institutions. Stepful is backed by Y Combinator, Reach Capital and AlleyCorp and recently closed a round led by Oak HC/FT.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and updating CRM systems.
  • Create and develop sales assets, including presentations, case studies, and proposal templates.
  • Identify, prospect, and build relationships with healthcare organizations, including hospitals, clinics, and medical practices.
  • Drive new business opportunities by understanding the challenges your prospective customers face related to talent and capacity, capability and diversity, and learn to position the Stepful solution appropriately
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful onboarding and implementation of Stepful's programs.
  • Attend in person conferences, customer meetings, and regional events to build a local presence with our current and prospective customers

This job is for you if:

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales roles, preferably in the healthcare, education, or technology sectors.
  • Experience managing enterprise sales cycles, for deals ranging from $100k to $1M. This should include engaging with VP and C-level executives across multiple business lines
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, preferably in the provider space 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making, with a solid understanding of sales analytics and performance metrics
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and creating impact in the healthcare workforce landscape

Bonus points if:

  • You worked in healthcare or sold to talent acquisition stakeholders

Note that this role will entail travel.

Base salary: $120K - $160K + sales commission plan
