You’re excited about a role that requires hands-on coding, enabling you to tackle complex infrastructure challenges and play a substantial role in shaping the trajectory of the Oneleet platform. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering team to influence and implement critical infrastructure and automation decisions, ensuring seamless integration and delivery across the platform. Expert time management; we work with clients all over the world as well as have a team that is spread throughout multiple continents. We don’t expect anyone to be working or available 24/7- but we are looking for someone comfortable operating outside of the 9-5 mentality. Our core hours are 9am-1pm Eastern Time and expect that you can schedule your day effectively outside of that, while being flexible.

About the job:

At Oneleet, the role of a DevOps Engineer would play a pivotal role in revolutionising our infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations across the Engineering stack. They are entrusted with the critical tasks of maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure, providing robust monitoring and logging solutions, and streamlining our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Additionally, they spearhead the implementation of GitOps, ensuring efficient and reliable code deployment. Joining Oneleet as a DevOps Engineer means diving into a dynamic environment with boundless opportunities for learning and growth, as we continually strive to optimise our infrastructure processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
  • Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
• Monitoring and Logging:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
  • Set up logging frameworks to track and analyze application logs for troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development:
  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of code changes with minimal downtime.
• GitOps Implementation:
  • Implement and manage GitOps workflows to streamline deployment processes.
  • Ensure version-controlled, declarative infrastructure and application configurations.
• Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to teams on DevOps best practices and tooling.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Performance Optimization:
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the infrastructure and applications.
  • Continuously improve system performance and reliability.
• Learning and Development:
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in DevOps.
  • Participate in continuous learning opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in tools such as Terraform, HashiCorp Cloud.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Containerisation: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git and Git workflows.
• Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, or Python.
• Bonus: Previous experience working with Engineering and Product teams

We use Go and Prisma/Postgres on the backend and Typescript with React on the frontend. For task orchestration we use Temporal. Our applications are hosted on GCP using K8s.
