Job Summary

Borong Sdn Bhd is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and maintenance of our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing robust data pipelines and ensuring data quality and availability.

Key Accountabilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Lead the design and construction of advanced data pipelines using cutting-edge technologies like Apache Kafka, Spark, Airflow, and similar.
• Data Integration: Implement and optimize data integration solutions to aggregate data from multiple sources, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage complex databases using SQL and NoSQL technologies like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
• Infrastructure Management: Utilize and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and deployment tools such as Terraform and Docker.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Develop advanced monitoring systems and implement strategies for data quality and reliability.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 4+ years as a Data Engineer or relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of data pipeline tools and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database management.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., DataBricks, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior team members.
