Shadeform is a cloud GPU marketplace that provides a unified platform and API to access cloud GPUs across 15+ cloud providers. We’re hiring a founding engineer to further accelerate our growth and move faster towards our goal of making GPU infrastructure widely accessible.

We closed a seed round in September ‘23 and are well capitalized. We run very lean and embrace scrappiness. We’re not a 9-5 company, and we’re very transparent about this. We value determination, work ethic, communication, moving fast, and being okay with disagreements.

We’re looking for an experienced back end focused full stack engineer. This role will focus on building backend features and working alongside our front end engineers to deliver well used and requested features.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend experience; Golang is a plus but not required
• Experience in managing resources in public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and other container adjacent technologies
• Familiarity with front end concepts and hands on experience making UI changes in React or NextJS
• Local to the Bay Area and committed to 4+ days in office (FiDi SF) per week
• Does not require visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with setting up Kubernetes clusters and managing a production cluster
• Experience with virtualization stacks such as VMWare, Proxmox, or Openstack
• Worked at Tier 1 tech company
• Worked at VC backed startup as founder or early engineer
