Our approach combines SOTA AI technology with a sleek, user-friendly interface to deliver personalized podcast highlights to a growing user base.

The Role: We're seeking a Founding Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of Overlap. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to work across our entire tech stack, from our SwiftUI-based iOS app to our Python backend and web solutions. This is a unique chance to make a significant impact on a product that's changing the podcast landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the founding team to define and implement product features
• Develop and maintain our iOS app using SwiftUI
• Help optimize and maintain our Google Cloud infrastructure
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
• Participate in architectural decisions and help shape our technical roadmap

Required Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and wear multiple hats
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ready and willing to go above-and-beyond

Preferred:

• Strong experience with iOS development, particularly SwiftUI
• Proficiency in Python for backend development
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, especially Firebase and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies
