At Centaur Labs, we label data at scale to enable breakthroughs in medical AI. Our novel approach uses collective intelligence to aggregate medical opinions from experts and students all over the world. Our labeling customers include leading AI startups and prominent research organizations. We are a small, tight-knit team headquartered in Boston, and we're funded by Y Combinator, Accel, and GFC.
We’re looking for a dynamic and resourceful Solutions Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers experience seamless and successful integrations with our cutting-edge data labeling platform. As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be on the front lines, working closely with customers to understand their needs, solve complex technical challenges, and ensure our solutions meet their unique requirements. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The annual US base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 USD. This salary range will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Centaur Labs, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace — so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You might just be the right candidate for this or other roles!
We use React.js and Swift on the frontend, and Python and Swift (Vapor) on the backend. Our data store is PostgreSQL, and we're hosted on AWS.
Centaur faces a wide variety of difficult technical problems, from efficiently serving millions of images and videos to our users, to ensuring our platform is secure and our valuable data sets remain private, to performing complex analysis on our users' performance and building machine learning models to take our decision making capabilities to the next level.
