Codingal (www.codingal.com) is a leading online platform where kids and teens learn coding through live, interactive classes led by expert instructors. Our mission is to build the world’s largest and most loved programming school for K-12 students, powered by both human and AI tutors.

While many countries have excellent technical universities, programming education at the K-12 level is often lacking. Recognizing this gap, parents turn to Codingal to help their children get an early start in programming.

All our instructors have a background in Computer Science and undergo rigorous vetting and training. Each student receives a personalized learning path and individual attention through 1:1 private classes or small group classes. Since our launch in September 2020, Codingal has empowered over 500,000 students through competitions, hackathons, and high-quality live coding classes. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive Coding competitions and Hackathons globally for kids and teens
• Partner with sponsors, universities, schools for drive Coding competitions and Hackathons
• Responsible for growing the Codingal community.
• Launch new competition with focus in key geographies like North America, APAC & Europe
• Dive user acquisition and brand visibility for competitions
• Manage and report marketing budgets for the initiatives
• Monitor daily traction of the user funnel and take proactive steps to optimize and iterate
• Work on multiple tools and CRM like Leadsquared, GA4, Hubspot & Redash to manage and audit data on a regular basis
• Run programs to drive new user acquisition and existing user engagement via organic channels, partnerships, affiliates, social media, et al
• Responsible for workflow automation, drip and data management

To be successful in this role, you will have to be:

• Experienced in organising coding competitions and hackathons (a plus).
• A computer science degree and understanding of programming languages will be a great advantage
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Knowledgeable about community-driven programs (an added advantage).
• Excellent in communication, cold calling, negotiation, and presentation skill
• Good understanding of online marketing
• Ability to hustle and find new opportunities
• Max 1 year of experience in Partnership / Marketing / Community management
• Freshers are also welcomed who have managed Hackathons or community building in college.

Our tech stack is Python/Django in the backend and React & Next.js in the frontend. We are small team of 3 engineers right now, building products for kids & teens to learn coding with live classes and online tools. Live classes, calendar management for teachers, gamified product for students, and a community where students can participate in Competitions are the key components of the product.
