About Us

Play.ai (fka PlayHT) is at the forefront of generative voice and conversational LLMs. With our Speech Synthesis and Voice Cloning models, we are building SOTA conversational AI products.

We are building a platform and infrastructure for Conversational AI Voice Agents so that every business, developer, or tinkerer can easily build talking human-like AI agents and use them to serve their customers; this will unlock massive value for the world and a lot of happiness for people using these delightful agents.

We joined YC last year in the YC W23 batch. Since then, we have raised $20m in seed funding and seen significant growth in users and revenue (20x the last two years).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Craft and execute comprehensive GTM strategies to drive market adoption and revenue growth.
  • Content Creation: Create crisp and compelling messaging, content assets, sales enablement, and more to be used by Play’s marketing and sales teams, as well as partner teams
  • Leadership: Execute and be accountable for the success of go-to-market campaigns, tracking success metrics accordingly
  • Customer Insights: Conduct thorough customer research to distill insights about our new products, potential target audiences, and personas, informing strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across a variety of teams/functions including Marketing, Sales, Finance and more to assist in addressing issues, building plans, and driving sales results.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in product marketing, consulting (with a focus on marketing strategy), or a directly relevant role.
  • Proven Capabilities: Demonstrated track record of building and executing successful go-to-market programs and campaigns
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Polished and compelling writing style. Strong competencies in crafting compelling narratives, developing persuasive messaging, and communicate and discerning core value-adds for customers.
  • Startup Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a proactive, self-starting attitude. Have a passion for building.
  • Experience with AI products is a plus
