About the role

🚀 About Credal

Our mission is to harness frontier intelligence for everyone building a better future. We don’t make flashy demos, help you sell useless crap online, or optimize yet more advertising junk. We focus our energy on the work needed to turn AI from a fun toy to a transformative technology, for the problems that matter to you, your family and your friends: healthcare, education, banking, housing and government. We just want to make sure AI makes our societies amazing in the places that the internet revolution didn’t really fix.

To achieve that, we're building the industry’s most powerful RAG platform along with configurable Copilots for custom AI workflows. But unlike other companies in the space, we’ve put security, governance & compliance at the centre of our product, so all Credal created applications can actually get deployed in the most important, and most highly regulated industries like healthcare, financial services, real estate and government. Our platform enables enterprises to rapidly connect private data sources to any vector store & LLM, while enforcing appropriate access controls, masking sensitive data, and establishing a secured audit log of every action an AI took and why. This approach has helped us secure multiple 6 figure deals with Enterprise customers in the industries most vital to humanity: Sustainability/Climate (e.g. IFRS), Infrastructure (e.g. Mongodb), Financial Services (e.g. Wise), Housing (e.g. Latchel) and Healthcare (e.g. Immunocore). We serve household names, multiple public companies, multi billion dollar unicorns, international regulators and more. Our team includes early employees at Palantir, Pinterest, Bolt, Cruise, Uber, GoCardless, Google, Bloomberg, Goldman Sachs, and Citadel. There isn’t one person who you’ll work with at Credal who won’t feel like this might just turn out to be the best person I’ve ever worked with (we know because that’s our hiring bar).

With serious traction, great funding from top tier investors (our seed round was led by Spark Capital, who also led Anthropic’s latest funding round), and an incredible team, Credal is incredibly well positioned to help play a defining role in the future of the AI industry. Our revenue is growing like crazy, but we've deliberately been slow to hire: we're focussed on finding amazing people who are smart, effective, reflective and empathetic. If you want to be surrounded by those sorts of people at work: apply!

🏆 The Team

Ravin (Co-founder & CEO) helped grow 2 companies from Series A to Unicorn status (THG and GoCardless), and then went on to lead several teams at Palantir, including the team responsible for Palantir's work keeping America's hospitals afloat during Covid (which Atlantic Magazine called America's Most Reliable Pandemic Data as well as a team working on accelerating Clinical Trials (which he co-led with Jack, our other co-founder).

Jack (Co-founder & CTO) started his career at H1 and Palantir. As a tech lead, he led teams applying Al in areas from air travel to healthcare to US defense, where his work was covered by the Washington Post. Jack was the Engineering Hiring Manager for Palantir's US Commercial business.

Tom spent 8 years at Palantir, where he led technical teams that built the first version of four of Palantir's most popular and important products. Before that, he brought on-prem AI solutions to bear on large financial institutions and corporations. Tom previously developed software solutions at Citadel and Bloomberg.

Ben joined Credal from Palantir, where he spent 3 years working on critical projects for the US Government. Most recently, he was the Enterprise Technical Lead for delivering security-focused software solutions to the United States Special Operations Command.

Sharon joined Credal from Cruise, where she’d been an early GTM hire. She leads our pilots, having helped us convert 6 figure deals with companies like Lattice and Mongodb from pilot to production.

🌟 About You

We're looking for someone who's an incredible executor, to help us scale our existing GTM channels as well as build new ones. You'll be playing a defining role in shaping the sales and marketing motion and culture of the fastest growing AI startup in NY. The skill sets and traits we're indexing on are grit, and synthesis.

Experience in any of the following is great to have but not required:

  • Early Stage Startups, especially in a growth role
  • Strategy Consulting / Banking (ideally around 2 years; we are looking for people fleeing these industries in search of bigger and better impact!)
  • Writing content online
  • Highly numerate and comfortable in a data driven environment

We embrace individuals who may not fit the traditional mold and encourage you to apply if you believe you would be a good fit for our values and culture. 😊

👷‍♀️ About the Role

The founding GTM will work closely with the CEO to scale our existing, inbound GTM and nurture new ones like outbound, referrals, conferences etc.

The nature of this work will change in a fast-moving environment but typically involves a combination of (depending on your background):

  • Experimenting in a particular channel Typically, before you can get a channel working, you need to experiment within that channel to understand how it works, especially in the context of our business. That means trying to do it yourself for a few weeks: writing blog posts, sending outbound, reaching out to our network for referrals, helping set up conferences, etc.
  • Creating metrics and KPIs to measure channel performance As you experiment, you'll want to be building a very data driven understanding of what is working and what isn't.
  • Recruiting and Managing Contractors Once you've established a good understanding of how to make a channel works, you'll be responsible for either building an in-house team that can solve that problem, or working with external contractors for things like outbound, website revamps, e.t.c.

💼 Work environment:

We love to work in-person in our downtown Brooklyn office.

We want you to feel like you work with truly amazing people, and to help attract those people, we offer above-market compensation including cash, equity, and benefits 😃
