Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Finance Controller to join our team. The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities, including bookkeeping, accounts management, invoicing, compliance monitoring, financial analysis and payroll management. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software or manual systems as necessary.
2. Audit Liaison: Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities, providing necessary documentation and support during audits. Address any audit requirements or inquiries promptly and accurately.
3. Accounts Management: Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
4. Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery.
5. Compliance Monitoring: Conduct data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and ensure compliance (GST/TDS filings/deposits) with relevant laws and standards
6. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
7. Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processes, including calculations, deductions, and payments to employees.
8. Budgeting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing recommendations to improve financial performance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification / CA Inter level qualification / CFA certification is required.
3. Proven 3+ years of core experience in finance and accounting roles, with a focus on controlling financial activities.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
5. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tallly and MS Excel.
6. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams and third parties.
