Chariot has proven demand & willingness to pay across nearly every sector within the nonprofit ecosystem for our debut product line, DAFpay. Your job over the next 12-18 months will be to own 2-3 large vertical areas and unlock more volume in those verticals. You will be the first specialized sales lead on the GTM team.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Lead to join our growing team of 12

  • Own end to end sales pipeline from prospecting through signed contract
  • Define and execute a targeted account strategy focused on enterprise nonprofits
  • Consistently close 4-5 enterprise deals per month - with a typical demo to close is 6-9 months - means an active pipeline of ~50 orgs
  • Drive the adoption of DAFpay and upsell new product lines to both new and existing customers
  • Serve as the voice of our customers, providing critical feedback to shape our product roadmap

About You

Experience working directly in a sales funnel, identifying Ideal Customers Profiles, stewarding leads through a sales funnel, with clear track record of meeting or exceeding goals

  • Listening - You listen deeply to customer wants and needs. You listen between the words for body signals and other cues for deeper understanding.
  • Communication - Your communication is clear, engaging, concise, persuasive. Both written and verbal. You can translate pain points into value props
  • Humility - You’re not too good to do anything that needs to get done. You’re constantly trying to learn, get better and grow.
  • Organization - You keep your pipeline, work systems and processes well structured
Technology

Frontend - Vue.js and React using Tailwind CSS.
Backend - Go, Postgress, Node.Js, Docker, Kubernetes (AWS)

We use Notion and Slack for communication and project management.

Intro chat to share what we are building and learn about your interests. We are searching for communication, ownership, and hustle. (25 mins)

Take home

Call with the head of partnerships and COO to dive deep into the case study. (45 mins)

Timing The typical interview process takes 2-4 weeks from start to finish. This tends to be mostly based on our team’s availability. That said, we have moved more quickly and look to accommodate candidates who might have a short timeline or competing offers.
