Today, Soraban's building software to help accountants automate their client data intake process. Our next step is to build the Copilot for accountants. We are looking for ambitious people to come build the best piece of software for accountants.

We’re a post-PMF B2B startup with ARR growing exponentially every month. With increasing number of customers and usage exploding, we’re looking for a great full stack engineer to join our engineering team. Our current tech stack is Ruby on Rails / React / Postgres, running on a combination of Heroku and AWS services.

We’re a remote team that’s looking to build our teams in San Francisco (CA), Austin (TX), and Tempe (AZ) locations. This will be initially a remote role, but will be in-person role in 3-6 months.

Skills & experience we're looking for:

• Design conscious; we expect you to have a deep interest in creating highly polished and delightful UX.
• At least 6 years of full-time experience as a software engineer.
• Naturally curious and willing to learn new things.
• Generalist and not tied down to a specific programming language or framework.

Bonus if:

• You are good at product. You can think from customer’s perspective and iterate extremely quickly.
• You have shipped a product end-to-end (comfortable with both frontend and backend).
• You are a self-starter who doesn't need to be micromanaged.
• You are persistent and determined. You are the type of person who will go through walls to get the job done.
• You've directly worked with a founder before.
• Built apps in production with React and Ruby on Rails.
