What you could be doing…

• Scouting out cool businesses we can help fund
• Planning events where investors fund companies
• Inviting cool founders and investors to our weekly dinners
• Helping founders get started on Wefunder and walking them through the legal setup
• Telling the story of business owners
• Testing the website for bugs
• Helping prepare government filings
• Responding to questions from founders and investors

For our June to Dec 2025 cohort, we still have 3 internships available – in Account Management, Closing & Compliance, as well as Investor Success. As we continue to grow, so does the role – show us what your skills are and we'll make sure they're put to good use!

Here are some things we think are important…

• You're enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program. And ideally, you've already completed the first half of your studies.
• You live in the Bay Area or can move here for the duration of your internship.
• Founder mindset. We want people who are able to tackle difficult problems on their own and proactively look for new ways to improve Wefunder. In other words: You can just figure it out.
• Learn quickly. There are tons of details to learn; securities regulations are quite complex and things change fast around here. You must be able to absorb and retain a lot of facts quickly.
• Organization and attention to detail. It's important that no balls get dropped when dealing with multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Strong people skills. You should have a talent for making people feel instantly comfortable, heard, and understood.
• Responsible & accountable. If you say you will do it, you do it.

This is a full time internship from June to Dec 2025 at our HQ in San Francisco at $25 / hr.
