The Operations Manager role
We are looking for a Credit Card Operations Manager ready to take the next step in their career to help build a fintech unicorn and change the lives of underbanked Americans. The Credit Card Operations Manager will be a vital member of PingLend’s Operations team. We are working on revolutionizing credit by pioneering our novel approach to asset collateralization. Achieving this objective requires that we have efficient and effective processes for handling: onboarding, card issuing, customer support, fraud and so much more.

Key responsibilities: In conjunction with PingLend’s management team, our payment processor, key vendors and sponsor bank, develop and implement all the required credit card and operational processes to ensure an effective product launch in 2023; Manage credit card operations, pre and post-cardholder acquisition including customer boarding, card printing and fulfillment, payments, call center operations, fraud management, chargebacks, collections, and account maintenance etc; Interact and communicate with PingLend’s internal and external key stakeholders; Maintain and oversee all operational processes, develop, maintain, document and train internal and external staff on standard operating procedures, drive quality initiatives across the customer lifecycle, maintain the highest customer experience; Develop and maintain a strong operational controls framework to manage operational and financial risk while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements; Oversee third party vendors to ensure delivery of all commitments, SLA's and quality expectations. Identify gaps and continuously interact with vendors to improve overall delivery standards; Support the development and launch of new products; Develop and maintain the required financial and operational reporting to ensure the appropriate level of visibility of PingLend’s operations.
Qualifications and Experience Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Project Management, and/or Product Management; MBA preferred. Five (5) plus years relevant experience, preferably with direct credit cards/payments industry experience. Five (5) plus years of Product Management or relevant experience. Demonstrated success in driving innovation and change with a focus on the customer. Exposure to, or experience in, financial analysis, including financial reporting, data analysis and business case development. Ability to drive results cross-functionally. Strategic thought leadership including strategy development. Strong written and verbal communication skills and business acumen. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and tailoring to multiple audiences. Ability to create a strong network of relationships amongst peers, internal partners, external parties, decision makers and stakeholders. Ability to structure and break down complex problems to drive results. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Strong creativity and self-motivated, with a passion to transform the business. Excellent decision-making, analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Self-starter with ability to manage time wisely and work on concurrent projects.
