Your role:

We are seeking a full stack developer to expand our product offerings, help with existing technology and be the technical owner of our software suite. 

As an early member of the team you will have significant autonomy, and be involved in both the day-to-day and strategic decisions of Byte Kitchen. You will steer the direction of our technology products, and join an engineering culture that champions empathy for the end user. Responsibilities:

Build and guide our growing team and evolving product as an early technology team member

Develop an in-depth understanding of our business model, space, and end user

Assist in developing our technology roadmap for both the near and long term

Work closely with the founding team on product direction decisions and strategy

Work with the founders to attract and employ likewise impassioned engineers set on bringing BK's vision to life

Ideal experience:

4+ years experience as a full stack engineer/ solutions architect

Proficiency in front end languages (JavaScript, Next.JS, React.JS, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) 

Proficiency in server-side languages (NodeJS ideal)

Experience with Cloud (Firestore ideal, AWS)

Comfort with Databases (Firebase, MySQL, Postgres)

Experience working on Vercel, Expo

Experience working with APIs

Experience building products from scratch

Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Bonus:

Startup experience / experience in food tech or logistics companies
